Lime Application: During our fourth visit we apply lime (if needed per your analysis) to help balance the Ph of your soil.

You can count on C. Valley Landscaping to provide a customized, nutrient-based fertilizer program. Our programs are tailored to YOUR lawn. The program begins with a complimentary visit to evaluate turf and soil conditions. This helps us set up your lawn care program.

Step 1: Early Spring Pre-Emergent Weed Control

  • April 1st through early May
  • A blend of crabgrass control with fertilizer
  • Your first lawn application is a granular fertilizer combined with a pre-emergent crabgrass and weed control. Applications are based on your turfs soil temperature to have the best results on preventative control of early season weeds.

Step 2: Late Spring Weed Control Application

  • Early May- early June
  • A slow release granular fertilization along with weed and pest control

Step 3: Summer Application

  • Early Summer
  • This application is a granular fertilizer, with slow release nitrogen to eliminate burn and to slowly feed turf during this normal hot and dry period. Micronutrients are supplemented in the treatment as needed per your soil analysis. Any rogue weeds are spot sprayed during this visit. Surface Insect Control is also applied to help control surface insects. 

Step 4: Early Fall Application

  • Late Summer / Early Fall
  • A blend of weed control with slow release fertilizer; Spot treatment of weeds as needed. This treatment helps boost lawn recovery after the hot summer months.

Step 5: Late Fall Winterizer Application

  • Early to Mid Fall
  • A balanced slow release fertilizer with nutrients is applied to prepare your lawn for the winter ahead.
